For Gum Chewers - Miss Obeline Jarvis is ready to drop her used gum in one of the many receptacles along Canal St., the main thoroughfare of New Orleans. Annoyed for years by gum-dropping pedestrians who stuck up the street, city officials decided to invite the public to dispose of their gum in the boxes.
